Cross Dressing Transgender Day – I’ve heard it all!

Standard

http://www.bizpacreview.com/2013/05/25/elementary-mom-furious-over-cross-dressing-transgender-day-71955

Wow and wow! The precious innocence of our babies is being molded in such a twisted fashion! Did we get to this point overnight? If that is what you believe then you are sadly mistaken. With every television show targeting cross dressers for various reasons, starting with Bosom Buddies in the early 1980’s, and then gradually adding elements so that today’s Modern Family not only embraces homosexuality but supports the family unit of gay parents with children.

If adult Americans can so easily be graduated to acceptance of unBiblical, homosexual lifestyle by integration to society through comedy, then, by all means, educators with their own agenda will seek to mold the future generation from the very moment they can get their hands on their little minds. Do you see how the progressives work? If little Johnny wears a dress to school because of transgender day and he seems to enjoy it, then surely he must be a girl trapped in a boys body. Do you see where this is headed? Parents: guard your precious babies. Protect the lives that God has entrusted to you by teaching them what is right and what is wrong. Do not allow the standards of man to replace the standards of God.

Proverbs 22:6
New International Version (NIV)
6 Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it.

A Blue Bride

I’m going to  post an article not written by me today as it captures the anxiousness I have been feeling so well.  The style of writing ihumorous and pointed and I believe it will brighten your morning!  Enjoy!

A Blue Bride. image
By Donna Wasson

I don’t know about the average Joe, but I am plum weary. Too pooped to pop. Tuckered out. Dog-tired. Add to that frustrated, irritated, exasperated, fed-up and downright disgusted, and that pretty much describes my mindset these days. My email tells me I’m not alone. I’ll admit that IS some small consolation.

So what’s the problem? Well, to put it simply, it’s like I’m all dressed up with no place to go. I’m supposed to be a Bride and dang it all, I’ve spent considerable time and effort getting ready to meet my Groom. I’ve got on the silky undergarments, pretty hosiery; I put on the beautiful wedding dress, jewelry, shoes and expensive perfume.

My make-up is perfect. Every hair is in place. My veil is fixed securely and my bouquet of flowers is fresh. I spend hours every day gazing out my window, straining my eyes for any sign of my Groom; imagining every sound is that trumpet.

And…nada. Zip. Nothing. The world keeps spinning and people continue hurrying about their daily business, seemingly oblivious to the grand ceremony that’s scheduled. I’ve sent out thousands of invitations, but haven’t received many RSVP’S. At least I don’t have to worry about the nuptials themselves or the lavish banquet afterwards. My Groom is seeing to all that.

Maybe that’s why it seems He’s been delayed. He wanted His arrival to be a surprise, so He wouldn’t tell me exactly when He was coming. He just told me if I watched the signs, I’d know when to get ready. He said He deeply desires me to be ready to walk out the door, watching and waiting patiently for His arrival. Well, I’m getting tired of waiting. After all, this outfit is anything but comfortable!

Perhaps He’s putting the finishing touches on the tables and centerpieces, or maybe He’s having the last coat of paint applied to the mansion He’s built just for me. I don’t know what’s going on, but I tell you what, this situation is getting OLD.

Despite knowing full well my fiancé loves and adores me, there are times when I can’t help but wonder if He’ll ever show up at all! Will He really keep His promise to come get me? Doesn’t He understand how long the waiting is on MY end? Frankly, it’s starting to get depressing. I mean, seriously! Like it says in Proverbs 13:12, “Hope deferred makes the heart sick; but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.”

My hope is being deferred more each day, and I can feel my heart getting sicker and sicker. Oh, I trust His word, and know intellectually He’ll be back, but when your heart longs for your beloved, time is a major enemy. All I want in this whole, wide world is to be with Him. I really don’t care about anything else.

I KNOW there are a bazillion other ‘Brides’ out there who feel exactly the way I do; your heart aches to leave this place, and join your beloved in your new home. And it will happen. He promised He’d be back, and I believe His word, even though He’s slow as Christmas! The longing we feel isn’t just the emotional tie we have with Jesus. It also stems from the fact that we’re stuck here on this wretched planet, watching all that is good and just and pure swirl straight down the societal toilet!

Good heavens, look at the news just this week alone! Could BO be more exposed for the corrupt, incompetent, arrogant thug than he is right now? Well, come to think of it, we’re only seeing the tip of the cover-up iceberg. I’m sure there are more salacious, disgusting revelations to come in the days ahead. Funny how those of us who spoke the truth of what’s been going on were rudely labeled conspiracy theorists, until the ‘conspiracy’ affected the mainstream media!

Now, all of a sudden, they’ve woken up and realized they aren’t the administration’s prized pet after all. All this time, they’ve pandered and excused the White House occupant’s egregious offenses but now they see they aren’t exempt from his intrusive, illegal police state surveillance, and boy are they are hopping mad! Well, welcome to reality MSNBC, CBS, CNN, ABC, Huffington Post, New York Times, etc… Glad you could join the party. How does it feel to be violated like the rest of us, huh?

The depth and scope of corruption in this administration is breathtaking! The occupant makes Tricky Dick look like your bratty little cousin who rummaged around in your closet without permission. These people are, quite simply evil. To the core! They are directly responsible for the MURDER of four Americans, and have done their darndest to ignore, circumvent and dismantle the Constitution of the United States while trying to silence, using mafia-style intimidation tactics, those with the cajones to call them for what they are.

Ninety percent of them belong in handcuffs, and the remaining ten percent should be booted out of office so they can join the struggle to find gainful employment like so many Americans are. Well, heck…I can dream, can’t I?? Finally, the sheeple are beginning to realize the Emperor doesn’t have any clothes on.

Then, we’re forced to wade in the muck of additional States passing legislation legalizing sodomite marriages, while more horrifying details emerge about the atrocities committed by other abortion clinics around the country. “Dr.” Kermit Gosnell is in good company. Hey, nothing makes a Monday morning like leaving a newborn to drown in a filthy toilet, huh? Thank goodness the woman was able to choose!

Then, there’s the California father of four who was beaten to death on a street corner last week by NINE, count them, NINE police officers, wielding their batons, as he begged for his life. His crime? Possibly being intoxicated and laying down on the sidewalk, and arguing with one of the officers when told he was being arrested. That’s it. He wasn’t bothering anyone at all.

And for this heinous crime, he was tried, found guilty and executed in a cruel and unusual manner by adrenalin high, power mad cops, whose blood lust got the best of them. To make sure they wouldn’t have to answer for the murder of a defenseless man, they illegally confiscated the cell phones of witnesses who videotaped the killing. Unfortunately, this kind of disproportionate brutality by law enforcement is becoming all too common. Goodbye Officer Friendly. Hello, Gestapo.

Of course, I could go on and on ad nausea, but I won’t. We, the Bride, are painfully aware America’s moral compass is missing its needle. We’re getting fed up of being the brunt of endless mocking for our stubborn insistence on upholding Biblical principles, and being forced to witness the increasing rejection of the Gospel of Jesus Christ in this ever darkening time.

It hurts our heart to hear our Groom mocked and denigrated; His very name casually used as a curse. The world positively celebrates wickedness, while WE are called ‘monsters’ who ‘spiritually rape’ others when we dare share our faith. How completely absurd and nonsensical our society has become! Just living day to day is a constant fight against evil, and quite frankly, it’s exhausting at times.

David felt this way. Psalms 12: 1-4 records him lamenting to God, “Help Lord; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men. They (the wicked) speak vanity every one with his neighbor: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak. The Lord shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: Who have said, ‘With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?’”

Thank you Lord, for giving us Psalms! Every emotion we experience during our lives on this earth is expressed in that book. King David, a man after God’s own heart, got tired of having to listen to the lies and bull excrement his enemies spewed day after day. God heard him and promised in verse 7, “Thou shalt keep them (the righteous) O Lord, thou shalt preserve them from this generation forever.”

Now, that sounds nice for the future, but we still have to slog through this slimy sewage every day, as we occupy until He comes. In our desperation, we sometimes set our hope on a particular date, sign in the heavens or Jewish festival, only to be disappointed again and again, so it’s easy to slip into despair. After all, enough is enough and we’re only dust. We can only take so much. These are indeed perilous times for the Bride.

In Matthew 24:12, Jesus warned those of us who would live in these last days “And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” THAT, my friend, is a very real danger. We have an extremely challenging situation to navigate here because we DON’T know exactly when He’ll snatch us home. There are a million and one theories based on this or that, and after a while, our head spins with confusion, trying to sort it all out!

We’re tired. We’re mocked and buffeted every day by human beings, as well as malevolent forces in the spiritual realm. The economy sucks. We’re constantly lied to by those in positions of power, and by people who are supposed to disseminate accurate information. Our unalienable rights are being assaulted in outrageous ways, by the MOST corrupt administration in the history of this country. There seems to be little hope, and fighting to maintain our witness for Christ is becoming more and more a suffocating struggle.

However, we have to remember this world isn’t all there is! It seems like we are going down to defeat because this existence is all we know. We’ve never glimpsed heaven or experienced our new, perfect bodies. All we’re familiar with is corruption, decay and death, but that’s not the whole story! We are NOT in a hopeless situation—not at all.

Jesus promised that His Bride is NOT destined to suffer the wrath to come. Those who love and serve Him, despite the challenges of these increasingly offensive days, are the victors. We who trust His word, who are watching and waiting for His return, have a fantastic promise to hold to. Our Groom knows we’re tired! He longs more tenderly for us than we do for Him!

Read what He tells us in Revelation 3: 8-11. “I know thy works: behold I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou has a little strength, and hast kept my word, and has not denied my name. Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee. Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. Behold, I come quickly: hold fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.”

We who are mocked and derided for our witness; who are called names and accused of being bigoted, intolerant, hateful, homophobic, narrow-minded, blah, blah, blah, WILL be vindicated by our Lord! If the things we hear and see every day wear us down, can you imagine the stench it must be in the nostrils of God? Yes, He is patient, but even HE has limits as to how much He’ll take without meting out His judgment.

I think the Lord cherishes the church because the only thing we have to hold to is faith; blind, walking in the dark, listening to the voice of God, faith. The patriarchs in the Old Testament saw and heard physical manifestations of God, which made it easy to believe God’s word. The apostles and followers of Jesus had first-hand experience with the Son of God, and witnessed incredible signs and wonders.

But all we, in the church age have to stand on is the Word of God. We are creatures designed to navigate our world through our five senses. How many times have you heard someone say, “If I can’t see or touch it, I’m not going to believe it!” Remember Thomas? He refused to believe the disciples had literally seen a risen Jesus. Only when Jesus appeared at a time when he was present and allowed Thomas to touch Him, was he convinced.

But what did Jesus tell him? John 20: 29 “Jesus saith unto him, ‘Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”

Our faith and trust that He will keep His promises, despite the fact we have NO physical evidence, means everything to Him! Psalm 138: 2 “I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.”

A person’s character and integrity determine his reputation and has direct bearing on whether his name is respected or not. God wants us to completely trust in His Holy character and the promises He’s made, because if we don’t, we denigrate His name. Not only does this insult the God of the universe, it hurts His feelings!

Although we, the Bride, have never seen Jesus or physically heard His voice, we can rest assured He WILL keep the wonderful promises He made to us! John 14: 1-3 “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.”

There. Is that clear enough? He WILL come for us, just as He vowed. His Bride is NOT destined for the wrath to come. Because we’ve kept the word of His patience, He will keep us from the hour of temptation that is coming on the earth. And because the church/Bride has had to lean on blind faith in the integrity of God’s Word and His name, we are the ones who will have the high honor of living in the sparkling jewel of the New Jerusalem! THAT is how God rewards those who believe what He says.

So, touch up that make-up, brush your hair, smooth out that wedding dress, and keep looking out the window for our Groom. Buck up. Don’t get your garter in a twist, and don’t allow your love for Him to grow cold! He knows we’re tired. He’s well aware of what we’re contending with on this sin-sick world, and He WILL snatch us home very soon. He promised He would, and that’s that!

Maranatha, Lord Jesus!

Palestinians Wave Nazi Flag over Mosque

Even if you do not like Israel (and I love God’s chosen people), this should offend you to the core.  Why in any universe would anyone support people in taking land that belongs to Israel, especially people who would fly a Nazi flag?  This is incomprehensible!

Redemption for Good Deeds?

Standard

ImageHmmm, let me think about that….um… NO!  That suggestion is the oldest and most used lie of the devil.  It sounds like it should be true though, right?  I mean, the foundation of our lives are based upon the proven truth that hard work and right living produce a good life and rewards.  We all learn this concept almost from birth.  If we obey our parents, we earn candy or praise.  When we start school, we learn that if we do what the teacher says then we receive good grades and good report cards and then that leads to more candy or praise.  The older we get and the harder we work, the greater the reward becomes.  If we do the opposite and don’t work hard, we create a life of limited possibilities and little to show for our actions.  If we don’t obey the law, we earn a ticket or even a trip to jail.  We live in a society where our actions dictate the outcome of our lives.  This is the standard that people across the universe expect.

http://www.examiner.com/article/pope-francis-promises-redemption-for-good-atheists?cid=rss

IF you believe this article and listen to the pope, then you continue past this earthly life and into eternity following the same standard for which you have patterned the actions of your life.  Doesn’t that sound great?  Live good, die better.  Sadly, there will be many, many people who find this belief to be the polar opposite of reality.  This is a concept that is almost impossible to explain because it goes against everything that we have been conditioned to believe.  Take a moment though and review your life – not the little details, just the large ones.  Can you remember the good things you have done?  Those shining events of greatness where you were really one of the good guys.  But, are all of our lives made up of these great shining moments?  No, so we actually do have to focus on the little details.  Those times when no one saw our actions and we were very happy to see that no one was watching.  Maybe there was time when we were mean to a co-worker.  We’ve all told little white lies to get out of doing something we really didn’t want to do.  Have you ever daydreamed about someone who wasn’t your spouse?  You should also remember those times when you had the opportunity to do something good but turned a blind eye to someone in need.  But, hey, our good actions offset our bad actions, right?  During your 70-80 years on earth, that answer is, generally, yes.  The very second that we draw our last breath, however, that dynamic changes.  2 Cor. 5:8 says , “To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.”  In other words, when we pass from this life in an instant we will be present with God in heaven. What will He say at that moment?  Will He welcome you with open arms or will He say, “my child, I never knew you?”  This is the perfect time to think about this because you are still alive and have a choice.  It would be a terrible waste of your life to move to eternity and never  have taken the time to make a decision about your eternal destination.  You see, on earth our rewards are a result of our actions, in eternity our reward is a result of our choice.  The reward of eternity with Jesus Christ is only given to us if we choose to accept that we cannot be good enough to enter into the presence of a perfect God.  By definition atheists do not believe in God, so how can they be redeemed to be with God?  It is futile for anyone to think they can be good enough to enter heaven, let alone someone who doesn’t believe in a Higher being.  Ephesians 2:8-9 says, “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast.”

It’s impossible to be perfect.  If you think you are perfect, or even a really good, person then you are lying to yourself.  Even on our very best day, our very best deed cannot even come close to God’s perfection.  We would have to be perfect every second of every day and that is not even a remote possibility for anyone.  God says that even the best things that we do are like filthy rags in his sight.  But, for argument’s sake, even if we could be perfect it still would not be enough to allow us access to God’s perfect heaven and presence.  As the Bible states above in Ephesians 2:8-9, faith is what saves us because it is a gift.  God paid the price for our imperfection and tells us it is free IF only we will believe that He died for us so that we would not have a chance to boast.  How much nonsense would it be for us to boast about our good deeds compared to what Christ did for us?

For the pope to stand in public and proclaim that if we are only good and try to be good then we will be redeemed is the worst disservice that anyone could do to another.  That is a deceitful action crafter by the master deceiver.  Not only if a person is good will he be redeemed, but according to pope, an atheist as the same opportunity.  This statement boggles my mind but even more than that, it infuriates me.  I have not met an atheist yet who is not vocal to the point of rudeness in their defense of how the notion that there is a God is false and that heaven is a fairy tale.  Atheists are, in my opinion, reprehensible for they mock the One who loves me more than anyone else.  They defame the One who created me and knew me in my mother’s womb.  They defile the One who suffered and died, not for His own actions but for mine.  They despise the One who rose from the grave because He is Almighty God.

Not only will atheists never be redeemed unless they repent of their false beliefs, good people who don’t put their trust and faith in Jesus Christ will not be redeemed either.  “Choose you this day Whom you will serve,” Joshua 24:15.  Make you choice, but choose wisely.  Eternity is just a breath away.

You’ve Been Warned

Standard

imageHow many of you have heard the sound of a police siren, only to look in your rear view mirror and see that the wailing siren and flashing lights are meant for you?  The seven stages of grief are felt simultaneously in that moment of realization as a cold sweat breaks out on your body.  I can describe this because unfortunately, I have experienced it and I will bet that most of you have been in the same situation at least once or twice-ish. (I love the use of “ish”. You can round down any time frame, incorrect scale reading, or mph over the limit. Just add an “ish” and voila – your statement sounds much better!). So you are pulled over to the side of the road, sunken down in your seat and praying with all your might that it’s a case of mistaken identity when, from your peripheral vision, you detect the approach of an officer. After stuttering and “yes, sirring” for what seems an eternity, you hear the words that you hoped you would but weren’t quite convinced you might…..”I’m gonna let you off with just a warning this time.” Talk about relief! I wish I could say I’ve only been in this situation once, but I had quite the lead foot when I was twenty-ish (see how well that “ish” works?). Unfortunately, the scales of justice didn’t often swing in my favor nor should they have. I broke the law, plain and simple, and there were consequences that I had to face as a result of my actions. I have to admit it though, it was a sweet feeling to get a warning when I deserved immediate punishment!

Our Heavenly Father is so loving and His heart is SO big that He persists in reaching out to all mankind, despite their horrible and hateful actions towards each other and Him. I honestly can’t think of one reason why He doesn’t just wipe us all out with the swish of His finger. The news headlines of this past week alone warrant immediate judgment based on God’s standard of perfection. The one and only reason He hasn’t acted is because of His great love for us as evidenced by the actions of His Son, Jesus Christ. Romans 5:8 New International Version (NIV) “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Bible Gateway)

Luke, one of the 12 apostles (meaning he traveled and walked with Jesus during His 3 years of ministry on earth) details a time when all of Jesus’ disciples were asking about end times. They were asking what warnings they might receive. Jesus answered, “Watch out that you are not deceived. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am he,’ and, ‘The time is near.’ Do not follow them. 9 When you hear of wars and uprisings, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away.”

10 Then he said to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. 11 There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven.

12 “But before all this, they will seize you and persecute you. They will hand you over to synagogues and put you in prison, and you will be brought before kings and governors, and all on account of my name. 13 And so you will bear testimony to me.” Luke 21:8-13 (Bible Gateway)

Do you see the heads up that Jesus gave his disciples? Have you read today’s headlines? I see a lot of similarities. How about you?  I challenge you, if you don’t already, to read the news (not fashion or entertainment), the real news for the next week and see this prophecy come to life.

Jesus further described additional things to look out for in the same chapter. He said 25 “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. 26 People will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken.”

Have you seen the light shows that are taking place around the world, the mysterious fireballs, the volcanos no longer dormant, earthquakes, famine, mysterious animal deaths? You would have to be a recluse to miss these signs – these “warnings”. God is delaying the imminent judgement of man for his actions. I am afraid that He won’t delay much longer though. We, as a whole, have climbed to the height of intolerable behavior. There are actions making front page of daily news publications that are so vile and disgusting that it is obvious Satan and his minions are wreaking havoc and pulling puppet strings as they put in place what has already been foretold. Ultimately, there is nothing that can be done to alter The future as promised by God. We can, however, interpret His warnings and make sure that those whose lives we touch are safe and securely held in the hands of our Father where no man can pluck them away. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “now is the day of salvation.” With the increase in type and frequency of the warnings given by God, if you don’t know Him, and I mean really KNOW Him, now is the day to reach out to Him for salvation. He is waiting for you. He loves you. Romans 6:23 New International Version (NIV) “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.” When we should be getting that speeding ticket, God said “No, my child. I love you and I will send my Son to take your penalty”. All you have to do is believe and accept that free gift. Sound easy? It is. You absolutely cannot earn salvation, it’s free to all who ask.

You’ve been warned! There’s a storm coming. Make sure you are safely held in the Hand of the Father!

There is Coming a Day

imagehttp://news.yahoo.com/head-pro-israel-organization-targeted-irs-speaks-032809952.htm

15 No longer will I make you hear the taunts of the nations, and no longer will you suffer the scorn of the peoples or cause your nation to fall, declares the Sovereign Lord.’” Ezekiel 36:15 (Bible Gateway).

There is soon coming a day when the ultimate Champion of the children of Israel says no more! The IRS puppets have had their fun. I surely hope it was worth it to them, because God is a jealous God. He is jealous, much in the same way that you would be if someone taunted or hurt a family member. Nothing makes me more angry than to see someone hurt my children. I could easily incinerate bullies with my eyes if their mean actions are directed at one of my own. Do you not think that your Heavenly Father feels the same towards those that hurt His children? Let me educate you. In the Book of Genesis, Chapter 12, Verse 1-3, we see what God says about His response to how people treat Israel:

“And I will bless those that bless you and curse the one who curses you. And in you shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Even though this verse and promise is from the Old Testament, there is no time limit on God’s proclamation. There is no statute of limitations. When God makes a promise it is a forever promise. He doesn’t give and take back. So, what does the Bible say that God does to those who anger Him? Galatians 6:7 (New International Version (NIV))

7 “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

Yes, there is coming a day. God will not sit by and watch His children suffer and continue to be the target of bullies. Watch out, there is surely coming a day!

Atheism Rooted in Search for Father?

Standard

image

There is an interesting study that has been released and can be found in detail in a new book that can be found on Amazon called Faith of the Fatherless by Dr. Paul Vitz. Certainly each person has a responsibility for their own actions and choices and the spiritual war that takes place behind the scenes for lost souls is not accounted for in this scenario, but from a Biblical view, this study may have merit, in my opinion. God refers to himself on many occasions as Abba Father, which roughly translates to “daddy” in our modern language. This is the role He wants His children to see Him in as He works in our lives and we approach Him.
Romans 8:14-16 New International Version (NIV)
14 For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God. 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba,Father.” 16 The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.

This is an interesting relationship that God moves us into as His children, compared to the Old Testament God who could only be approached by the High Priest. If your relationship with your earthly father is how God intended it to be whereas you have open access, receive love and nurture, and have structured quality time spent with him then your view of God will be what it should be. You will be able to approach God and understand His love for you. Conversely, if you have an absentee father, lack of affection (hugs), and a broken relationship the chances are favorable that your view of God will fall in line with this disjointed view of your earthly father. God uses many events, roles and objects to help us understand Him. The relationships of family members to each other are integral in understanding God and how we relate to Him. It is easy to see how someone may translate their understanding of their interaction (or lack thereof) with their earthly father to the belief that there is no God. How could someone who has not experienced a true dad understand a heavenly Dad? It’s much like someone who lives in the desert trying to understand snow. Does snow exist? Is snow real? Of course it exists and is real, but having only experienced weather in the desert, a person from this region cannot comprehend the possibility of snow and may very easily determine that there is no snow. In this example, the lack of experience translates to disbelief much the same way that an individual who missed the daddy interaction may determine there is no God. The mind is designed to adapt to nature, nurture and surroundings. I’m not sure that science will ever be able to fully comprehend how the core processing unit of our brain works but a case can be made that the love or lack thereof from a father has a direct impact on a person’s view of God.

See the release on Faith of the Fatherless below:

What psychological factors could lead someone to become an atheist?

The question posed above is an interesting one since it is the opposite of what many atheists, such as Sigmund Freud and Ludwig Feuerbach, have asked about theists. Freud argued that theists believe in God out of a desire for an idealized father figure. Paul Vitz, Professor Emeritus of Psychology at New York University, turns this explanation on its head. Vitz, who was an atheist until his late 30s, presents his psychological analysis of atheists in “Faith of the Fatherless”. The Amazon “Book Description” summarizes his work as follows.
__________

Professor Vitz argues that psychoanalysis actually provides a more satisfying explanation for atheism. Disappointment in one’s earthly father, whether through death, absence, or mistreatment, frequently leads to a rejection of God. A biographical survey of influential atheists of the past four centuries shows that this “defective father hypothesis” provides a consistent explanation of the “intense atheism” of these thinkers. A survey of the leading intellectual defenders of Christianity over the same period confirms the hypothesis, finding few defective fathers. Professor Vitz concludes with an intriguing comparison of male and female atheists and a consideration of other psychological factors that can contribute to atheism.

Professor Vitz does not argue that atheism is psychologically determined. Each man, whatever his experiences, ultimately chooses to accept God or reject him. Yet the cavalier attribution of religious faith to irrational, psychological needs is so prevalent that an exposition of the psychological factors predisposing one to atheism is necessary.

As noted above, Vitz’s analysis does not disprove atheism but it does provide an interesting response to those who summarily dismiss theism through psychological explanations; and especially for those who appeal to Freudian-type explanations.

Follow this link. This is amazing to me that our children’s curriculum has been revised in this manner. This only applies to the GED course study but it surely affects the perception of reality for a lot of Americans who cannot complete traditional school. The more perplexing question begs to be asked…..if this is in the curriculum that the minority of Americans study from, what is hidden in the mainstream curriculum? Does this jolt you awake? It should!

The Muslim War on Christianity

The Muslim War on Christianity

I shared earlier from my blog that Christians are disappearing from countries where once Christianity was prevalent. Israel, Iran, Syria, Egypt…. Still think Muslims are peaceful people? The core message of Islam is to eradicate all other beliefs and especially belief in the One true God. There is nothing peaceful, normal or decent about this false religion.

Biometric Database of All Americans

Born in the 1960’s, the Cold War and Nazi Germany was still a strong focus of history.  Unlike today, where many people would rather deny or forget that this type of atrocity took place in the world, my generation was aware in detail of how one sick and deranged man targeted a race and the effects of that action.  I remember class discussions in which we debated how the marking of individuals could come to pass.  How could anyone sit by and watch their neighbors, friends, employers and fellow countrymen be forced to wear a yellow star and then quietly disappear in the night, never to be heard from again?  What kind of human lets that happen?  Subsequently, how could a country let the secret police take over and dictate what you could believe or where you could go?  Surely, this craziness would never be allowed again.  After all, we all heard President Reagan say, “Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.”  We watched as the division of Communist Germany and the free West Germany dissolved.  We saw the segregated Russian countries embrace the culture of the free Western world.

So, how did we as a free American society get from that place in time, knowing everything that we know and having seen what men can do when given the power to control others, to today when we are ok with providing the government details about ourselves, facial recognition capabilities of ourselves, medical details about ourselves and even, as seen in the Florida headlines this past week, reporting on the political activities of our neighbors and friends?  THIS is happening today – here – now!  Do you not see how one man’s self-allowed autonomy in America is streamlining the take down of the greatest country on earth?  Edmund Burke is quoted with perhaps the most eloquent statement of all time, “All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing.”  Are you doing nothing, like the majority of Americans?  Are you sitting idly by and watching the beginning of the end?  Don’t be naive enough to think that you will not be affected by the gathering of information.  Don’t be gullible enough to think that the only reason the government wants to know everything about you is to identify illegal aliens or terrorists.  Obama’s administration, now largely comprised of socialist empathizers, Islamic and Muslim followers (and let’s be honest, the central tenant of that belief system is the radical removal of all non-Muslims – if you don’t KNOW this, you have your head in the proverbial sand), and proven idiots, has made it known through their actions that they will move this country to socialism.

Martin Niemöller (1892-1984) was a prominent Protestant pastor who emerged as an outspoken public foe of Adolf Hitler and spent the last seven years of Nazi rule in concentration camps.

Niemöller is perhaps best remembered for the quotation:

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Socialist.

Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.

Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out–
Because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me–and there was no one left to speak for me.

History has always repeated itself.  Even if you only have a high school education, you know this to be fact.  The question is are we going to allow history to repeat itself today or are we going to say “No!  Not on my watch.  Not in my backyard.  Not in my Country!”  Stand up fellow Americans.  Do not be silent my Christian friends.
